Aston Manor grab draw with Liverpool on late Jhon Durán objectives

Colombian super-sub Jhon Durán scored two late objectives as Aston Estate combat back to rescue a 3-3 home draw with Liverpool on Monday and make a huge stride towards a spot in the Bosses Association next season.

A coordinate that began with Manor goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez yielding a stunning second moment own-objective transformed into a thrill ride with Duran hitting on save the night with strikes in the 85th and 88th minutes.

Manor are currently on 68 focuses with one game excess, five clear of fifth-put Tottenham Hotspur, who have two matches just on the horizon yet should beat title-pursuing Manchester City on Tuesday to remain in conflict.

Unai Emery's side play their last game at Gem Castle on Sunday while Tottenham end their season at consigned Sheffield Joined together.

Liverpool were gifted the opener when Argentine global Martinez bobbled a manageable Harvey Elliot cross, frantically mauling the ball across the line and into his own net.

Estate, who might have ensured fourth spot with a success, leveled 10 minutes after the fact through Youri Tielemans on the Belgian's return from three matches out because of injury.

The delight was brief as Cody Gakpo made it 2-1 to the third-put guests in the 23rd, after a VAR check for offside, and Jarell Quansah then, at that point, took in off the post from a free kick for his most memorable Chief Association objective in the 48th.

Liverpool looked set for every one of the three places in director Jurgen Klopp's penultimate match, a conflict that might have finished with a far higher scoreline with the two arrangements of fans disheartened by VAR and a lot of botched opportunities.

"We got a touch of karma. It's been an intense few weeks with chaps returning and playing through the torment boundary. This spot got us moving," Estate commander John McGinn told Sky Sports TV.

"Enormous Jhon is a piece nuts on occasion, he's a bad dream to play against.

"There's a few of us that have never been near the Bosses Association in our life. The chief has a no-excuse mindset. Individuals have kept in touch with us off and we've drifted unnoticed. We'll have our Man City tops on tomorrow."
